    Welcome New Seahawks!

    Salve Regina will hold a five-day orientation program for first-year students Aug 31- Sept 4. You must complete this registration form by Monday, Aug. 26. The registration form contains information that will help the New Seahawk Orientation team prepare for your arrival to campus.

    All first-year students are required to attend all five days of the New Seahawk Orientation. A $300 programming fee will be included with your fall tuition bill, which will be issued in early July. This fee supports all aspects of New Seahawk Orientation, including facilities and operations, meals, apparel and swag, excursions and guest speakers.

    New Seahawk Orientation: Newport Day Selection Session (Monday, September 4,2023)
    As part of the third day (Tuesday, September 3, 2024) of New Seahawk Orientation students will have the opportunity to get to learn more about their new home Newport, Rhode Island. We asked the student to rank the following locations based on their preference and interest in where they will have site excursion during this date.

    Students have one opportunity for a site visit on this date. Student has the opportunity to rank for their site visits based on the following timeframe below:
    • 2:30 pm - 5:00 PM
    Note: The Orientation Team will do their best to make sure that student has the best opportunity to attend one of their preferred locations but, due to location capacity and interest some selection would need to be made by the Orientation Team.

    Student will be informed by early August via email on where their two site visit on this date will be.

    Family and/or Guest Information
    As part of New Seahawk Orientation Family and Guest Orientation, each first-year student has the opportunity to bring two family members to orientation. Family and Guest Orientation one-day programming will be available throughout the afternoon of Saturday, August 31st and we highly encourage those who are attending to take part in the scheduled evening presentation/sessions.
